We’ve worked closely with the England RFU and sponsor CCC activating the Footy Lid™ (Skull Cap™ in the UK) at eight Test Matches at Twickenham Stadium in London. We have also worked with the Ireland Rugby Union and sponsor O2 have activated with our Footy Lids at Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Over 100,000 Footy Lids have now been distributed to fans who can’t get enough of them.
We collaborated with the England RFU and sponsor CCC and Ireland RFU and sponsor O2 to design and produce branded Footy Lids for each series the Footy Lid™ is used. We managed the distribution of over 90,000 Footy Lids in stadium. We also incorporated QR tags which drove fans to the CCC online merchandise store along with social media links.
Powerful activations which engaged fans in-stadium, added to the game day atmosphere, generated publicity to the sponsor through print media and was visible on international television. Fans of all ages swarmed to get their own Footy Lid™ and the sponsor CCC was overwhelmed with positive comments posted on there Twitter and Facebook pages. All of this created extensive in-stadium hype and excitement and the QR tag acted as a very successful call to action tool.
